Letter to First Ministers from major business and civil society leaders

The President and CEO of the  Cement Association of Canada is among the more than 60 CEOs and civil society leaders urging Prime Minister and Premiers to take bold action on clean growth and climate change.

“Canada’s transition to a prosperous, low-carbon, climate resilient economy hinges on the right mix of incentives, investments and bold complementary policies. Carbon pricing sensitive to the competitiveness of industry is the backbone of this transition, but must also be met with investments in low-carbon technology innovation and a deeper commitment to lifecycle approaches to infrastructure and the built environment.”      Michael McSweeney, President and CEO, Cement Association of Canada
